Bugs - Can't get Trandumper to work Madball - Tue Oct 04, 2005 5:06 pm Post subject: Can't get Trandumper to work
Hi I just subscribed today to Trandumper and when I run it from IE 6.0 it loads up to the start screen that has you choose which language you want to run it in. Once I choose english it opens a new window and IE has the bar at the top that says "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for more options...". So I click on it and choose allow blocked content and then nothing happens the screen is blank. Hopefully someone can help me with this issue. Thank you.

I have enables all the ActiveX settings in Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level and I enabled everything. Still whenever I launch trandumper and click on Start Exam another window pops up. Then at the top there is a yellow bar that says "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options..." So I click on it and choose Allow blocked content and nothing happens.

Do you have any other security programs running in the background i.e. privacy, av , firewall etc that might affect it,
Disable one at a time and see if the app works

I also encountered the same problem, my pc is running IE 6.0.
After follow through all the steps mentioned above and also disable the firewall setting but still can not start the Trandumper.
Can someone please advise how to resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Stupid question maybe, but did you download a braindump and put it in the correct location? Will show blank if you don't have anything to look at.

I have the same problem with IE 7.0 beta 2 I think that it is related to the latest security patches that Microsoft put out, but I am not positive.
