Thnx

Looks like we're waiting for you to be the forerunner, Snafu! Sorry about that. If I don't pass 70-292 next week, I'll be attempting the 70-296. Hopefully for you, you'll have already passed it, but if not, I'll be glad to share my experience as well.

Just heared from another source...
70-296 in two sections, 50 Q's 130 mins.
First section, many DNS, second section many GPO's. On a review of the test against a dump i sent her, she feels about 10 to 15 Q's not in latest dumps. Feeling that about 40 seem to be 'common sense' (probably meant makes technical sense) but at least 10 were mind bending. Having to read and re-read many times the Q@A's. And BTW, she's no slouch in the technical knowledge area. Many more certs than me!
She failed with mark less than 625, no graphical representation of marking.
I promised not to be too specific dont want to be too specific about test centre or location.
Hmm... thats very much similar to the 70-292 experience we've been hearing about. Catbotz - Tue May 31, 2005 8:24 pm Post subject:
Passed with 887 on 17th May.
I think success depends partially on where you actually sit the exam, i.e. Thomson Prometric or Pearson VUE, from what I can gather from various forums and talking to people I know.
Note that some people are getting 40 questions and some get +50. Yes, I know that updates will happen etc...
P.S. Snafu you are doing a great job with the Transdumper formats! Snafu - Tue May 31, 2005 10:37 pm Post subject:
I've not seen or heard anything different from 130 mins for 50 q's. The 50 q's being split into to seperate sections. Time for each section dependant upon the no of q's in that section, usually 24 / 26.
Re the centres, think the biggest influence is the tst environment. I've encountered spacious offices, with good desk space to the other extreme of it being cramped, pull out drawer type desk. These aren't condusive to being comfortable.
One are that can have an influence is the screen display resolution. In a recent failed test, I had to spend time scrolling up, down left right etc where as in earlier test the full Q can be seen on the screen with minor scroling for occasional exhibits.
Worth a pre-exam visit or asking the 'awkward' questions before committing. Dont accept second best from the centre!
I'll submitt an updated dump for 70-296 in the next two days, usuall format.
Hey ho, test due in the next few days!!!
BTW, thanks for the thanks. The formatting on the dumps takes much work, but it makes reading and using them much easier.
TTFN.
