Post subject: too little too late? 70-292
Hello, I'm some what new to trandumper.com i was a huge follower of the site mcsebraindumps.com and trandumper program back in 2001 when i was working on my win2k track. the site was very helpful to me when i was studying and looking for help while taking my test. Well here i am 7 years later and looking to start taking test again i just found out that the 70-292 is about to expire Evil or Very Mad and it would save me a huge amount of $$ and time if i could pass it and gain the mcsa2k3 title. Does any one have any thing that could help me cram for this test with about 7 days to get ready for it? i hear that most of the test is based on your knowledge of DNS? can any one confirm this for me?

TIA.

I just took the test this evening (3/20). It's a tough test. I flunked the first time last Saturday and I never flunk these tests. The DNS questions tripped me up and I missed a bunch of them, which led to the failing grade. So, i studied DNS like crazy and retook it. The first 10 questions on the second test were DNS, most of which I never saw on the first test.

The Cyrus dump is pretty good and there is another one that has a lot of downloads, which I used. Remember these dumps are pretty old, but they still are great study tools. The test apparently has changed, since I did not see many questions from the dumps on the test. My advice is read a book and then use the dumps. Also, there is a post on one of the forums saying how good Pass4Sure tests are. Don't believe it. I downloaded and tried it. There are no explanations and a number of obvious wrong answers.

I did pass the second time.

Hope you passed, just passed 70-292 today after failing it 2 weeks ago. DNS tripped me when I failed, this time around it was SUS - it was probably 25 % SUS! But I passed Very Happy

BTW is this deifinitly retiring today? I saw a comment on the MS website that "they could not gurantee how long prometric would offer this exam for", so by implication is there a chance it will still be available.

ps I think you can also gains MCSA 2k3 by passing 70-290 and 291, not 100% sure, have a search of the forums here.
