I thought the exam was a little harder than the hardware exam. It is true when they say you need experience in the field. Well, I don't work in the field, but I try to include any computer knowledge to my workplace. Get very familiar with the OS commands. Recommended processor for all of them (XP and 2000, that's the ones they gave me today). If you study A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide (5th edition) Mike Meyers' A+ Certification Passport, Second Edition you will be fine.
